It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single person in possession of a good desire must be in want of a new habit.
We all do it. We promise ourselves that this is going to be the time our diet sticks or our regular oral care sticks or that we'll turn away from the dessert tray. And it always starts so well! You feel great and accomplished. But let's not kid ourselves into thinking this special start period lasts forever.
Be it a new job or a new routine, you will hit a wall. But have faith! The wall is never the end of your journey. If you're strong enough to keep on keeping on, eventually you will transcend to the third state of habiting.
In short, hating a new habit is natural. Accept it and keep going.
